Fabulosity: A Pampering, Shopping & Networking Experience to Be Featured on KSTP’s Twin Cities Live Telecast August 6th
Minneapolis, MN August 3rd—On August 6th, tune into KSTP’s Twin Cities Live starting at 3:00 p.m. CST where Fabulosity: A Pampering, Shopping and Networking Experience will be featured in the “Weekend To-Do’s” segment with Dez. Studio audience members that day will also receive a special treat from participating Fabulosity sponsors, vendors and partners.
Fabulosity, to be held at the W Hotel (Foshay Tower) August 7th, is a “day party” themed event that will feature many vendors under one roof for a unique pampering, shopping and networking experience to help benefit Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA). MOCA is an ovarian cancer alliance that supports survivors and educates the public about ovarian cancer.
"We are very excited about the Twin Cities Live support, it means a lot to have a major media partner and this will help us with our goal of making an impact for ovarian cancer and supporting MOCA,” explains Tosha, Fabulosity’s Executive Director.
Twin Cities Live, Tracy Robb, was fast to coordinate a plan for ways the show can help spread the message. "My mother died 18 months after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. This cause is very close to my heart. We had no warning and she had no symptoms until it was too late. Ovarian cancer took away my best friend. We need to find a way to detect this disease early so others at least have a fighting chance against it, this is why I am supporting Fabulosity and I hope others will also." Robb will be among several women who will speak briefly at Fabulosity about how ovarian cancer has affected their lives or the life of a close loved one.
A video of the telecast will also go online August 6th and there will be a re-broadcast at 1 a.m. August 7th, which is a time slot that receives excellent ratings.
In addition to donating a percentage of the proceeds from Fabulosity, The Midwest Divas will also hold a silent auction at Fabulosity to benefit MOCA.
It is still not too late for fashion and beauty vendors to participate, the Midwest Divas are seeking "an eclectic atmosphere, where women will frolic, mingle, network, buy beautiful merchandise and be catered to."
Designers, vendors, boutiques fashion and beauty companies are all encouraged to go to the vendor section of www.midwestdivas.com.
